Yes, I fully agree with Mr. Nedal Tamimi. VoIP is a cost-effective technology. STC is bullying the market by trying to run it's monopoly. As of now there are no clear rules that VoIP Termination is illegal in KSA or in many other countries which resort to such things. Sooner or later they have to come to terms with emerging technologies. But, in the meantime people have to voice their thoughts loudly against such injustice. STC is definitely answerable!

Saudi Telecom Company (STC) blocked all lines that they issued to our company in Saudi Arabia to help us provide VOIP termination service for our clients into the Saudi Market. The held back our deposit and are imposing fine on us. We want to persue legal action against them since there is no clear declaration that VOIP is an ILLEGAL service in Saudi Arabia. As a matter of fact, the STC use International telecommunication services termination through similar arrangement in the US and are required by fair trade rules of WTO to accept the same service be offered by equal and fair competition from the USA
